VunjaBei Group Expands Pharmaceutical Distribution Across Tanzania

VunjaBei Pharmaceuticals, the health-focused subsidiary of VunjaBei (T) Group Ltd, has announced a major expansion of its pharmaceutical distribution network across Tanzania. The move is set to bring essential medicines and healthcare products to more communities, particularly those in underserved rural areas.

The expansion will see the opening of three new distribution hubs in Mwanza, Arusha, and Dodoma, complementing the existing headquarters in Dar es Salaam. These hubs will serve as regional centers for pharmaceutical storage, quality control, and distribution.

"Access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege," said the VunjaBei Group management team. "By extending our distribution network, we are ensuring that more Tanzanians have access to the medicines they need, when they need them."

The new distribution centers will create over 150 direct jobs and support hundreds more through the extended supply chain. Each facility will be equipped with modern cold-chain storage to handle temperature-sensitive medications.

VunjaBei Pharmaceuticals currently partners with over 200 healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. The expansion is expected to increase this number to over 500 within the next 18 months.

The company is also investing in digital infrastructure, launching a real-time inventory management system that will allow healthcare providers to track medicine availability and place orders through a mobile application.

This initiative aligns with VunjaBei Group's broader vision of contributing to Tanzania's development through healthcare, commerce, and community impact. The pharmaceutical expansion is part of a larger strategic plan to diversify the group's operations while maintaining a strong commitment to social responsibility.
