Building a Stronger Supply Chain for East Africa

VunjaBei (T) Group Ltd is making strategic investments in logistics infrastructure and cross-border partnerships to build more resilient supply chains across East Africa. The initiative comes at a critical time as regional trade continues to grow under the East African Community framework.

The group is investing in warehouse expansion, fleet modernization, and digital logistics platforms. New warehouse facilities totaling over 5,000 square meters are under construction in strategic locations near major transport corridors.

"Strong supply chains are the backbone of economic growth," said VunjaBei Group leadership. "By investing in infrastructure and technology, we are not just growing our business - we are contributing to the economic integration of East Africa."

Key to the strategy is the deployment of a digital supply chain management platform that will provide end-to-end visibility from procurement to last-mile delivery. The platform will integrate with customs systems across partner countries to streamline cross-border trade.

VunjaBei has also entered into partnerships with logistics companies in Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda to create a regional distribution network. This network will reduce delivery times and costs for customers across the region.

The investment in fleet modernization includes the acquisition of fuel-efficient trucks and the installation of GPS tracking systems for real-time shipment monitoring. The group is also exploring the use of electric vehicles for urban deliveries.

Industry analysts note that VunjaBei's supply chain investments position the group well to capitalize on the growing demand for efficient logistics services in East Africa's rapidly expanding consumer market.
